Absolute waste of memory on my phone. Hangs, location detection is terrible. A flawed flawed app. Stick to driving buses and leave developing apps to people who know what they are doing.

New update is not working. Please fix.

Appreciate better, accurate data. A few times, system was also down. Disappointing app.

Pressing the refresh button can be a bit annoying as even if the finger is just slightly off it will open the page where it shows all the bus stops for a service. Another thing is that it lacks the functionality to search and browse bus stops directly. You usually have to be near a bus stop to access its details.

Bookmark is broken after switching to iPhone 6

"Sorry, there is no SBS service at this stop"...while I'm standing at a bus stop that only serves SBS buses. Enough said.

This was a well written app which had helped me a lot with planning my bus journey. Unfortunately since beginning 2014 it does not work very well anymore. It does not update bus arrival time, takes a long time to update. Email to app developer as a feedback has not been answered yet. Please have a look and fix this otherwise great app.

It is not clear how the information will benefit the user. Doesn't show bus numbers. Designed by engineers who has no concept of how users will use it. Thumbs down

Bus # 188 is missing.

1.0.12 Bus route 5 still has many stations (about half) without any station name and location. It just says (null). Map seems to work when a station has a name. With the un-named sites you go to who knows where on the map. 1.0.11 The latest update added some severe - that is they disable the apps functionality - bugs. The map no longer will locate you position. Loc. Services Icon comes on but nothing changes. Routes missing names of the bus stops and missing those stops on the map. Route 5 and 403 are the ones I've looked at. Please go back to the prior version until these issues are fixed and it would be nice to have email link to report bugs to avoid using a review for this. It WAS a pretty good app that was quite useful, for me anyway, that with a little improvement would have been 5 stars.

It was a very useful app, but suddenly stopped working from last week, fails to find the current location and starts up with a message "error retrieving some data". The current update did not help. I hope this gets fixes ASAP.

App isn't working after the latest update.

Since feb 26, this app is useless. Cannot detect location, all info is null. Only constant is 'error retrieving some data'. SG next bus does a much better job. SBS fix this, otherwise people will stop using this and switch to alternatives.

All of a sudden this useful app have failed. Won't find my location. Now it's useless. Fix it!

Location error. Have tested on iphone 4S, iphone 5, ipad mini and 4. pls check...

Always starts with error message. but then it works fine. A useful app.

1. Always got Error Message when start the apps. 2. It drains my battery even in the background. 3. Why need to put ads in this apps?

It helps we when ever I'm waiting for a bus or on my way to a bus stop

I updated from an older version because there was a forced update inside the app from the app's server. This forced update broke the app. Thee new update is even worse. Now the app doesn't even load beyond the initial screen of the brand logo. SBS simply doesn't care about making a decent app

Don't bother with this app. Not user friendly.

This app is both inaccurate and slow. How many times has it told me the bus is 10 minutes away (for about 5 minutes) to suddenly arriving? Often. Here is a key to the arrival times: Arriving= already gone. 5 min = immediately to 20 minutes. Don't try switching from wifi to 3G, it won't work. Close the app and restart. Getting ready for work and monitoring when the next bus will arrive? Refresh to update. 10 min...7 min... 4 min... OK go to the bus stop...suddenly 15 minutes. It might as well be random. Maybe it is. Utter garbage.

The software is slow to load even on an iPhone 4S. The bookmark feature would be good IF ONLY I can use it without having to set a reminder time? Come on, we don't just take the bus to and fro work at fixed times, how unrealistic is that? I really wish we had TranSGuide back. It was so much better. How much is SBSTransit paying to have this app developed again?

How many times did you get pwned by a bus that's supposedly going to reach in 3mins and it's either gone or 20mins away? All in all sg public transport's offering can't be any worse, be it in bus transport or prediction services. Crap.

Wow new feature advertisement . This app used to be good but just that it crush often. Now u added advertisement , which is so annoying. So disappointing... Is there any way example give 99 cents and remove the advertisment

Since when did enabling ads become a "feature" ? Uninstalled this as soon as they added ads to an already slow app.

First, SBS restricts data for 3rd party developers with very good apps. Then they give us this. Not only poor functionality and terrible interface, but highly inaccurate information. How does a bus that is "Arriving" suddenly become 10 minutes away? I would be embarrassed to offer this app.

The information for at least one bus route (171) isn't in this app, so if I want to get information about the bus, i can't. Or if I didn't know where I was going and the 171 was the most direct route, I would be inconvenienced. I like the idea of being able to track bus arrival times, but it's not much use to me if the buses I need aren't on there.

The previous version's features were working well other than occasional crashes due to software instability. Now it's just way too tedious to search for arrival time esp after them taking away the ability to search based bus stop number. Many thumbs down...

Slower than molasses, about as accurate as a blind man. If you can't build an app well yourselves, let others do it for you.

This app gives me a timeout often and far too many times give an inaccurate estimated timings. Strange how the third party apps were working so well but this app does not measure up. SBS needs to focus on its core competencies to providing a good transport system and leaves app development to the one who knows and does it well!

A poor replacement for third-party apps like SG Buses. Quite painful seeing someone reinvent the wheel out of misguided desire for data protection. We don't see airlines holding back route data from third-party book sites--their objective is to drive users to their buses and trains NOT their iPhone app!!! After all, the third-party apps did it for free and SBS is probably paying someone to do this. Quite clearly a case of a lack of financial prudence, to add to the lack of goodwill to passengers.

My first app review is dedicated to a shameless Singaporean company. Learn how to be a decent human being first, have an open mind, if you are keep grabing on something you thought that is big so tight, you are actually losing big time.

In comparison to TransGuide app this app is a complete disappointment. To start with the server for this app is always down during peak hours, well that does not mean that it works rest of the time. It is also very complicated when all a person wants to do is check when the next bus is arriving at the stop.They did some upgrade by adding on new features but guess what they don't pretty much serve the purpose. Also, this app's developers should read these reviews to make changes possible. Shame on you guys!

Quite a good app, some rough points but I'm sure they'll get rounded off soon. However SBS/Comfort needs to open their minds and continue providing data to 3rd parties. Including bus arrival times in other apps (Transit@SG, GoThere etc.) makes it much more accessible and would increase ridership, increase the public profile of SBS and please thousands of users now made very unhappy by these apps recently being shutoff from bus data. This is the age of open APIs, mashups and a million apps, and SBS is missing the chance by being too closed with data APIs. Let your data be free, let others see what they can come with and everyone profits!

I don't see why SBS should monopolized the bus information. SBS is providing public transport service to Singaporean. It is public service! Though it is a listed company, it responsibility is no different from that of civil service. Now heed LHL call to be the humble servant, tell SBS to make the bus information available to ALL third parties applications. Competition is healthy, many of the apps are doing a better job in communicating the information to the public. As you can see from the IRIS rating here!

This app really disappoints me!!! Its horrible!!!

Crash prone, long startup time and horrible design, with lots of popup prompts. Why on earth is a reminder timing a mandatory field for a bookmark? And now it's reported you are blocking other (much better) 3rd party apps? At least revamp your app with a better one before you do that! And please allow your bookmarks to be sorted, if not manually according to user's liking, at least automatically by name or distance.

or 'Off(line)Road' etc bcos it is absolutely crash-prone & buggy. Alternatively crash on Load, acquiring Nearby location, Refreshing arrival times. C'mon, get your act together.

If this app does a better job than 3rd party, then it's great. But it crashes upon launch on my iPhone 4. Listen to the users and let others do what they do best, an app that delivers.

It would be good to have a "Favorites" function so I can put in the bus-stops I normally use. Now I have to scroll and look for my normal stops. Not so user-friendly.

Refused to launch on my 3GS.

I keep on geting timeout when I try to use the program. -------- I agree with another reviewer that comnent on tge exclusion of SMRT and MRT in this app. This shows the narrow mindeness of the management at SBS Transit, Delgro Comfort. They put their buiness above the need of their customers first. The app should facilitate Singaporean or vistors to go from one location to another. If they gave put that as goal of this app, then being the largest bus operator and taxi operator, they would get capture most if the users of this app. By crippling this app to only their own buses, they are doing the company and shareholders a disservice.

Just saw the ad on the bus and downloaded this app immediately! Best ever bus app compared with the ones I'm using. Looking forward a quicker and stabler version with new funtionalities.

Quickness and stability is what I'm looking for, and I'm glad that I've found it in this app!

A very well-designed app which is almost useless as it does not cover the SMRT buses or MRT (unlike Google Maps which shows all options). Developers need to coordinate with the other companies that serve S'pore transit. You do it on the bus shelters, guys! We know you can do it online!
